Egawd...I made it to 0:43 before my ears started bleeding. Painful.

I think you just missed the sweet spot by about 10 secs. That was where I was overwhelmed and had to stop.

There's a girl who works at my dry cleaner with those studs in the edges of her mouth. I keep thinking she looks like Darth Vader's love child and wonder if she can pick up radio signals with those.

While I couldn't look at her 'cause of the lip things, I found the lyrics entertaining. It gets pretty funny toward the end. Yes... I made it to the end.

Granted I watched only the first 10 seconds...with the sound off. But it looked like an ugly dude in a pink sweater to me.

On one hand, I want to say it's too whiney and monotonous.
On the other hand, he still plays better than I do.

My take: while an argument could be made that her vocals are a bit monotonous - that is her style - like it or not.

It's no secret that the quality of pop music including rock has dropped off since the 90's - at least she is doing something creative and different. Regardless of whether or not you in particular like it.
