Honda parts? Good place to order?
Where do you Honda owners buy your parts? I started gathering an order on ********* and my $70 order had about $30 of shipping tacked on. So their good prices were not quite so good once I finished.
I just need normal maintenance parts. I would just go to Autozone... but they don't have air filters for 2012 CRVs... so might as well order online. Thanks, Neil

Don't know about maintenance parts but for body parts I was amazed at the cheap prices from Certifit Online
My son drives a 2003 Honda Civic and nailed a fire hydrant the other day. A new bumper cover, bumper bracket (the actual metal bumper behind the plastic) and a headlight was $114. It's low quality but fits well and you can't beat the price.

I don't own one now but I've had a couple Hondas in the past. I used to order from Mechanicsville Honda in VA. They are a dealer and would sell factory parts at much lower than retail, sort of like Sunset does in the Porsche world.

Use Autozone online--order filter/parts and have them delivered to your local store for pick-up at no charge. I have been really pleased with them lately--stopped by my local store last Saturday to get a starter for my 90 Landcruiser(not a very common application)--said to come back at noon. Showed up at 12:00, new starter with lifetime warranty--80 bucks after core charge.

Don't own a Honda, but for Toyotas, I usually can find all the parts I need within a mile or two. I don't buy from AZ, but Oreallys and Advance price match them for better parts.
Eric, I have a 1991 L/C, same motor as yours and I've only had to wait a few hours on the alternator. The one that fits, you know, the 80amp version. It had to come from a store 2 miles away from the one where I picked it up. Starter in stock. All lifetime!

Ebay, or auto haus.
I've been finding amazing deals for parts on eBay. Just have to make sure it's the brand you want. Allot of subpar brands to avoid.
