Signed my very first "model release"...
so - what now? Should I sit by the phone and await the call from Hollywood? Pffft.
The Tourist town of Branson, MO has been having a summer car show and a midnight cruise for several years now. The car show is sponsored by and held at the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead and Theme park. I think they registered just over five hundred entries this year. If I can, I usually try to go and get some photos. *You can click to see a few samples: MO-Gearhead's Library | Photobucket _______________________________________ Sorry you 'coast dweller's' - it's the mid-west - the home of horsepower and AMERICAN IRON - thus, not a P car to be found. I mostly yawn and walk on past the "checkbook" autos (new Vette's, a Fisker Karma, although I did snap one of a Shelby engine) in search of what catches my biased eye. From Rat Rods, to 540 CI Chevy trucks, to a 1949 (my year of birth) Cushman scooter, a 'tribute' road-racing Corvette, restored Chevelle's ...on to the ULTIMATE Yugo! Enjoy. Oh - the model release? They were shooting some video for an upcoming TV show and I blundered through in the background. Some babe with a clipboard pulled me aside and said, "Sign HERE - or we will digitally alter your face!" I confess - at my age I took a moment to consider the offer of a free face lift - but in the end her smile and pleasant demeanor swayed me to sign on the dotted line. |
that Yugo is awesome.

LOL - about that Yugo. Did you ever hear about the WWII "Ghost Army" used to fool Hitler?
