Old but classic and awesome cars

Came across this article about wooden WV Beetle that this dude have built. And it made me remember my old Volkswagen Beetle that's been siting in the garage for years. Maybe it's time for a rebuild. What you gents(and ladies think) about both Beetles?

An old Beetle in the garage would be a very enjoyable distraction to work on. Go for it.

Do it! I picked up a fairly well preserved '63 ragtop a few years back and it's been lots of fun and a PITA at the same time. But all in all, it's been more fun than pain. If only I could figure out why it stalls when hot...

As for the wooden Beetle, amazing work.
