Anyone Watch NOVA on PBS? I used to watch it as a kid but haven't in years. Wondering if it is any good still? Anyone watch it? |
|
I watch it somewhat often. A lot of times I don't see it in the guide and miss it. But I "liked" it on facebook and now get a heads-up when it is going to have something interesting. One of the better ones is online and talks about the quest to reach absolute zero temperature. A few weeks ago was "Saving Otter 501" which is a nice, feel-good story. |

The original NOVA, yes. It's still good. But the Nova spin off crap with global warming shows and junk is terrible. You can go to PBS.org and watch past shows. |

No. Don't watch anything on PBS anymore. Global warming crap and other political and politically correct garbage just turned me off. And what percentage of their budget is tax payer dollars? Anything more than zero is too much. |

I watched several Austin City Limits and don't recall any "global warming crap". |

Yup still love nova. Great show. |

Clearly if you don't believe in science you won't enjoy a tv program about science... |

That scientist Tyson, would be Neil de grasse Tyson, one of the worlds leading astrophysicists, and probably smarter than quite a few pelicans combined. |

Nova is still worthwhile TV although lately it has started to become a little 'watered' down compared to years past - in my opinion at least. Cheers JB |

No he is saying if you dont like science then you wouldnt like a science show. Different logical set entirely. Positive vs Negative. |
