It was pure joy for me when I was looking at a similar job, to simply drop the steel banana arms from the car, and install the aluminum arms, with bearings and brakes from the parts car.

The steel arms said bye-bye at John Walker's swap meet.

For many of the years after I stopped drinking I used my race car(s) and motor cycles and now my black powder guns as a sort of therapy. Sure helps to do things like that and get dirty now and then.

I am currently making some 600 grain 45 caliber paper patch bullet molds for my slug guns and that is pretty rewarding too.
