They want to play with the big boys in the premium segment. With a price tag for the top of the line model next year closing in on 1 million Swedish Crowns. That is roughly $150k. For a Volvo. Well.. At least in Sweden were Volvo is the folk car number one, that is not going to work. But I suppose they want to hit Asia and USA markets in the same lane as BMW, Audi and Mercedes.
