The Best Gin I have ever had

Normally I wold not drink gin straight or on the rocks... Until now. This stuff is ridiculous amazing!

It's Barr Hill Tom Cat Barrel Aged Gin. While the juniper presents itself, the smokey oak finish is nothing short of a great single malt.

It's made up North. New England. Do your self a favor. Buy a bottle and I swear if you don't like it I will buy it off you!

It's a Gin you can drink straight, on the rocks, mixed. However.

Thanks for the tip. :)

Their (clear) Barr Hill Gin looks interesting, too.

That sounds like a genever, or "old dutch" style gin as opposed to "london dry". Look at recipes for genever...

http://www.cocktaildb.com/index is a great resource for this.

called three large liquor stores within forty mile and no one has heard of it. i may have to expand my loop to ninety miles to include rochester or albany.

My dad used to drink genever, with family and with his Dutch buddies: Bokma and Bols were his brands.

They'd chill it in the freezer and drink it straight, from shot glasses.

Been a fan of Plymouth, Hendricks, and Brokers. And while I can drink most liquors "neat" or "rocks", and prefer a dry gin martini to a vodka one, gin has been known to make me surly if I have too much of it. So as much as I like the taste, I have to steer clear of it, or I'll find myself in a fist fight!

They also make a Vodka, which could be good too...

I'm sure there are some serious gin drinkers in Albany.
