For years, I didn't get the appeal of Lobster. may as well have been chewing old tires. Then a few years ago I got some at a nice restaurant. That lobster was cooked perfectly. I think that's what I'd been waiting for. Good lobster is really good. Bad lobster, bleh!

Very nice. Now make sure you do something, anything, so you can say "Hey, I helped build this thing, where are WE going today."

Looks like he knows what he is doing. The hull lines look good, no bulges from unfair bulk heads .
Aluminum is nasty dirty stuff to work with !

That appears to be the pulley end of the motor that raises the lobster trap. There is a rope/buoy attached to the trap, the rope is snagged with a hook and then fed through a tension wheel and the pulley to raise the trap. This is how I understand it anyway. Maybe someone with first hand experience can elaborate more.

I thought so. I remembered seeing something similar on the series "Deadliest catch".

Started 6 months ago, he needs a replacement welder that uses the wire feed type, Tig welding is too slow. Any welders out there? He needs help to get this in the water by September 30. Project is in Costa Mesa, CA
