Any Carvana purchase experiences here?
 

I've currently got a car in my "garage" on the site. Sports sedan is all I'll say right now. It's got the interior color that I have been searching for and the exterior color is fantastic. Their site offers 3d style photos of the real car - and points out all of the blemishes. It seems pretty impressive. I'm curious if anyone has experience/stories on their on-line process.

Compared to what I've seen on local lots - their price is about $2k less for the same condition model year, and the extended warranty to 100k miles is less than half what Carmax quoted for a like car. Their deductible is $50 and I can take it to a dealership, Carmax deductible is $250 to their service center.

Atlanta is apparently a local hub of Carvana, so shipment of the vehicle to their downtown location or to my driveway is free. They offer a 7 day no questions asked full refund policy. I don't see much downside to the deal.

I've got to call tomorrow to discuss my Tacoma for possible trade in - Carmax already gave me a surprisingly reasonable offer (that's regardless of me purchasing anything off their lot as well.) I might be able to clear another $1k or so selling it myself, but I loose the sales tax benefit of a trade in - so the hassle is not worth it to me.
