I kept waiting for something to happen. Then I figured out that it was Yes music.

I will report this thread to the mods for endorsing religion.

I like piano music - all genres...normally.
But when I meditate, I cannot listen to piano music - no matter how soft, melodic, and peaceful it is.
It's the attack and decay of the subtle plosives from the hammers that bother me.
Same with acoustic guitar music.
I prefer more continuous sounds like what comes from violins and other bow instruments.
However, I will listen to water over rocks and rain, etc. - no thunder and lightning, please.
Sometimes ocean waves are good.

Funny, I was listening to this earlier.

Going For The One was the last good Yes album in my opinion. Then they tried to become a pop band with 90125.

Not sure about the religious experience in that...sounds like racket to me.

This came out WHEN you were young. I've always loved Yes. Dad played all their stuff when I was growing up. More like nursery rhymes than religion.

Emerson, Lake, & Palmer did some good stuff in my days.
Also, Pink Floyd.
I did like them...and others.
Take it easy on an old fart, dude.
