Free Time

I had some time lately so I finished a Gecko and sold it, finished a mother and baby Elephant in Marble, about seventy lbs, about 24"x24", the brown is because it had been exposed to the elements for a very long time. I left as much as I could.

Definite talent.

Thanks folks, and there is a black line in the marble below the mom's head running into the baby that links them together, came out good, no planning involved.

An artisan. Am impressed!
How long does it take to do one of those?

RANDY P 09-10-2014 12:54 PM

Hey- how much $$$ for a bust of Elvis?

Or maybe Nostatic?:p

Very cool stuff.

I used to have delusions of getting into comic book illustration until I realized I couldn't draw worth a damn. Taking it into 3D is another level beyond that.

Dean, you've got some spectacular skills. These, and the other works you've done and shown us here are always exquisite. Absolutely beautiful. :)

Thank you all for the comments, I started a Polar Bear a couple weeks ago, it will be full 360, not a relief, the Italian Marble piece weighed 235 at the start. I will have some pictures when it, if it, looks like something.
