help more then half of my email has gone to spam

People had been calling, look to talk to me and I finally realized that I should check my spam folder. There they are, but this has not happened before, what do I do? I can't see any of the graphics or photos when I open mail in spam. Oh, I use Yahoo mail and a Mac

Jeff

Were they all emailing to sell you penis enlargement pills?
Don't know what to tell you. I use Yahoo and their Spam filter seems spot on for me.

You can whitelist known addresses

usually remote content is blocked unless the content comes from a trusted source or the msg was sent by a trusted source or known and whitelisted address

are you using a browser to view your mail or the Mac Mail app or thunderbird or something else? That'll make a difference if the issue is on you PC or within Yahoo.

Yes David, Firefox.

Trusted source? I receive email from the same people over the years and now they have gone to my spam folder.

I have no clue what's going on.

Either way, you should be able to mark you good mail that is in the spam folder as not spam and that should move it to the main inbox and allow you to see the images, etc...

There may have been an update to Yahoo mail or something. You should be able to select all of the messages that aren't spam and then mark them as "not spam" and move them in bulk to the regular inbox.
