Bavarian History book recommendations?
Looking for some good reading material on the history of Bavaria. I know about books that focus on King Ludwig (like "The Swan King" and "Not so happily ever after") and books that survey German history (like "A concise history of Germany"). However, I'm looking for something with a little more coverage beyond Ludwig and a little more focus on Bavarian history than German history.
I'm sure there are some books in German language, but sadly my German isn't good enough to make those viable. Any recommendations?
