The article doesn't say much, appears he is a poor little rich kid and playing with mommy and daddy's money.

I find it hard not to see it any other way. Might see it differently if I knew how he got his seed money.

So what? Why does it matter?

Thanks, Maybe I'll check him out some day.

The article didn't say much of anything about him. I've never heard of him and frankly, I don't come here to have to do research on other peoples posts. If you are so impressed with him you could have linked more background info.

Done.

I like Carini. At least he has a purpose in life beyond the cars, although most don't know that.

I knew Blue back in the late 1980s and early '90s when we both used to frequent vintage VW shows. Haven't seen him for over 20 years, though. It was strange to see him today at age 46. Back then he was a very young, long-haired surfer dude.

He did seem to have quite a bit of money at a very young age, no doubt from his daddy. He was always on the lookout for a Rometsch. But he was always very nice and had a passion for his and other people's cars. So, he's living the good life, thanks to his lucky birth. So what. He's just doing what almost all of us would be doing.

Sheeesh, so much negativity and judgement. I posted it because it was an interesting piece on someone who shares similar values and passion about cars (and Porsches) that, hopefully, most of us do...

Vbaron,

Thanks for the link and it was interesting for sure specially someone local. I could careless where he comes from or or how he got there. I bet for most of us here, having a passion for something is enough.

Anyone who lets cats sit on his cars has got to be a good guy.
