iPhone 5 For Sale

Well, with the iPhone 6 pre-order complete and on it's way, the time has come to part with the 5. I sold my 4 on pelican so I thought I would make the same offer again.

I have a black iPhone 5 on the AT&T network. 2 years of use and it is in like new condition. Kept in an Incipio NGP case at all times. No scratches, nicks, dents, etc. Battery was replaced yesterday by apple under the recent recall, so it's as close to a brand new phone as it can be.

It will come with a charging block, lightning cable, earbuds, and Incipio case.

Check eBay, these are selling (completed auctions) for over $250 with scratches and screen cracks.

For Pelicans, I will do $245 shipped. For interested parties, it will ship once I take delivery of my 6.

I'll just drop this here: How much does an iPhone 6 really cost? (Hint: It's way more than $199) | ZDNet

You might want to read the article. You are plopping down $750, and generally more, because the intentionally confusing way the contracts are written.

For example:
Quote:
So, with a contract, you pay Verizon $300 up front for a 64 GB iPhone 6 and then pay $40 per month for two years, adding $960. And to add insult to injury, Verizon will charge you $30 to upgrade your phone at the end of the contract, for a total of $1,290.
That phone, if you just bought it, would be $750.

I ran some extensive numbers prior to buying my 6. Over two years, the cost of my two year contract and paying $300 for the 64gb cost about $200 more in total than spending the $750 upfront and paying the discounted service contract pricing. I'm ok with that vs shelling out upfront strictly from a cashflow standpoint. In 2 years when I get a new phone I will likely just buy it.

750$ plus service for the phone. They roughly avg. out... Hey, the iphone holds its value. Re-sale it when the next comes along!

just a warning. crick/virgin/boost aren't as reliable as the major 3.
