Air Force museum this month

I'll post this up just in case anyone needs something to do end of this month. I'm flying down again this year and will post pics right here as it happens. This is the big 100 year!

Thanks for the heads up. I put it on my calendar and I might bring my old truck over for the parade.

Lots of late summer obligations on the agenda.
I missed out on Thunder of Michigan again this year as well.

For reference:
Found this simulation video of the hunting machine Craig flies in real life.

Yup. We just spent two days there back in August. The shuttle doesn't give you enough time at the R&D hanger though. Price is right as well.

That is fantastic!

Its great that your dad is still so sharp at 84. What a thrill it must be to fly those pioneering aircraft.

Nothing sounds as good as a 9 cylinder radial engine. I visited the museum about 3 years ago with my family and loved it, and could have spent alot longer there.

Well we had a great time! Found a Culp built Sopwith Pup fuselage, ribs and other extras a friend from back in the 90's has for sale I am going to look at next week down in Indy. Looks like I will be building a pup: Been looking at the Rotec r2800 engine for a long time and there was one flying with one:
