Anyone looking for a project car? 53 Cadilac 4 door

Monday morning I'm having breakfast at my local diner with a group of buddy's and one asks me if I'm interested in hauling some cars for his brother. He says his brother has 4 vehicles he wants scrapped. His brother called a tow truck guy and he didn't show up. I said sure. We go over the next day to meet his brother and I want to see what I will be hauling and from where.

There are 2 - 85 Chevy vans (a 10 & a 20), a 51 Chevy 2 door hardtop and a Chevy 1 ton with a Aluminum box on it. He tells me the 1 ton might be sold so it's off the table. The vehicles are in a line, Van, 51 and Van. I move the first two to the recycling center and as I load the second van the brother mentions "So you will load the one in the garage tomorrow?" I say "the Caddy?" and he wants it scrapped too. It's worth saving and I talk him into selling it. The 51 was a rusty pos. The inside roof support on the hood was even crunchy rusty. But not is all bad for it, it's going to be a Christmas decoration at the recycling place.

So anyone have interest in a 53 Caddy 4 door project?

Garage
Might be a good parts car but unfortunately not worth restoring. You can buy a good one for less than it would cost just in money and be driving your finished project tomorrow instead of 5 years after you're dead.

Actually it's a pretty solid car. See the bumper on the right side? Nice and shinny....it looked like the rest of the bumper before a SOS pad was used on it.

It's cool, but hauling it across the continent may be a bit cost prohibitive. If it's not rusty I'd be surprised if there wasn't much local interest.
