Naked and Afraid Part 2

I just started taping this show. I thought it's a new series! Anyway, I would not survive past the second day. I gotta have my ice water and remote. I'd die of thirst before starvation. Seriously, I don't know if I could start a fire without matches or a magnifying glass. I know one thing; if my naked partner lady wants to spoon for heat, she'd better be behind me.

The people in the show really lose a ton of weight so I think it's authentic. How real or fake do you think it is?

I really like the series. I kinda like all the survival type shows. And yes, I think it's real. I think I'd give it a try if the opportunity presented itself.

Is TV real or fake? Seriously?
Guy lost in the forest... is he going to survive!?! Oh wait... there is a film crew of dozen people following him around.
Oh look a hornets nest! Ack we are allergic to bees/hornets! Wait, we have to start a fire... and everything in the forest is wet... except inside the hornets nest... coincidence?

In some (most) of the shows you're right. The producers seem to think we, the viewing public, need some drama to keep us tuned in. Maybe they're right. I know I'd watch even if there was no fake drama. And of course there's a film crew near by. How else are you going to get it on tv without the film crew.
More than a couple of the participants on Naked and Afraid have gotten seriously ill as a result of participating. I don't see that as an indication that the whole event was staged.

A producer almost died from a snake bite a couple years ago.

I really don't see how sex doesn't just break out spontaneously...

There was one episode where the two fell pretty cozy together. There was some suggestion they we boinking.

Personally, any women covered from head to toe in bug bites, with matted hair, that's gone a couple weeks without personal hygiene....Not a big turn-on for me.

meh... i have no problem with bug bites, dirt, or matted hair. bathe her and bring her to me....

i watched a couple of episodes and became disgusted with the ludicrous lack of survival skills displayed by folks that supposedly know something about the outdoors.

and, no, i am not going to prove myself by being a contestant and being filmed naked for a week. no one wants to see that.

I can't stand the show. 21 days of sitting there starving. Why do they wait until the end to move to the EZ? I would make that hike at the beginning when everyone is fresh.
