Anybody going to AES in LA this week?
 

The AES (Audio Engineering Society) show is @ the LA Convention Center downtown - back after many years in SFO. We are in Booth 1437 this year & we have a custom MB Sprinter van in 1436 as a cool meeting room (with a Focal sound system of course ;)).

Anyways, drop by & say hi if you get to the show. We are staying across the road in a condo rental which should make the evenings more interesting than the usual restaurant crawl. Are there any decent butchers or meat markets anywhere near downtown? We will have wheels.

You missed our surprise guest. Geoff Emerick. He was at our booth for a couple of hours to sign his book: Here, There, and Everywhere: My Life Recording the Music of The Beatles. He has won 4 Grammys - including one for engineering Sgt Pepper & one for Abbey Road!

A nice man with lots of stories.
