Porsche Crest Photoshop Assistance and Opinion?

I'm considering removing all the decals from the car that were on it when I was Club Racing. Over the past two years I've unwound most of the PCA Club Racing prep in order to male it street legal again. (A different long thread that I haven't put together)

I've left about half the decals on to keep a bit of its lineage, but I'm considering removing them. Can anyone Photoshop the decals away?

Comments? Leave or remove them?

I like the side decals a lot. Don't care for the windshield graphic.

Sorry for the color shift, I couldn't do a drag and drop to my desk top so it adjusted the color space to srgb

herr_oberst, apologies for the late response. Thank you for the edit. I like it. SO different from what I've been used to seeing for more than a decade.

motion, I agree. Maybe that's the place to start. Removing the windshield decal.

Thanks again!

Do what ever you want with the decals, but sell me that car! Seriously.

The racy stuff needs to go.

If you feel the need for something, a subtle color differential rocker location decal would be appropriate.

I removed the windshield decal, I haven't had the nerve yet to remove its Club Racing Number....or the SCWDP.

There could be a shadow of the decal left in the paint if it's been on a long time.

Just depends on how much time its spent in the sun since it was put on, but its a very real possibility with that color. Hopefully its not too obvious.

No it's not. It started its life as an early 80's off white, with brown interior.

The past two years I've unwound all the race prep and returned it to the road. I gutted the race interior including role cage. Stripped it down to the bare metal and started over again. Has been a fun project.

Here are some pics from 2001.

I've thought about that, however the car spends 99.999% of the time in the garage. Since my Son was born in 2008 I stopped racing and it hasn't been out since this past year once I finally got it back on the road.

You should be safe then! Just take it easy removing them. NO BLADES on paint, and use adhesive cleaner if there is anything left after.
