subsurface lawn watering

Anyone installed subsurface lawn watering systems
i.e. KISSS Irrigation Subsurface
I am about resod my lawn and was wondering how effective these systems are?

Wow that looks pretty cool. I can't help you with it as it's the first time I've seen one. I do have a conventional irrigation system and it certainly helps during low rains times.

Good luck and post pics if you go for it.

It would have a tough time working here. The clay soil we have is nearly impermeable. The sod sits on top of this with maybe 2-3 inches of regular soil.

I expect if you have a deep enough standard soil base it should work nicely. Here I expect you would need to install it to virtually cover the entire yard, before covering with the sod.

I've seen it before, we maintained a commercial property that had a Netifin system. It worked fine. However, we didn't aerate.
