Thinking about another story line...Ebola related Imagine if there was a child who naturally produced the antibodies to fight off a really bad bug. Now most of the country is infected and the population is dying... The medical industry can't produce enough antidote fast enough to stop the infection. They need a few gallons of blood but the only problem is this kid can't give it all at once and for some reason although he has a special antibody rich blood he can't accept a transfusion. Essentially the world needs all of his blood all at once and it will kill him to do so... As a parent what to do? ya ya I know the story has to be developed so that it is plausible... (oh shyt, who am I kidding, this story line was prolly already developed years ago!) |

I remember a story in about the same context. Think the main characters name was Jesus or something like that. ;) |

we would be screwed. i'm no medical expert, but i dont think an average adult has a couple of gallons of blood.. so for sure that kid would suck dry way below that.. run up the credit cards.. |
