Miami area Pelicans : Second encounter while on vacation in the Florida Keys
Hi guys. Just wondering... :
It's our second time in the Keys and each time, we got to cross a bunch of Porsche enthusiasts heading in the Key West direction, coming from Miami I guess. Each time, we were heading to the Miami Int'l Airport, on a Saturday, and saw about 50 Porsches in 2013, and maybe around 30 today. There was many '74-'98 911s, a few Boxsters, 2 or 3 991s, and even a 356. Anyone was in this group ? Is it a PCA regular run to Key West ? Just curious... (and by the way, it's about 0 Fahrenheit here in Montreal, I kinda miss Florida already...). ![]()

I was supposed to be the but could not make it. Yes it is a PCA sponsored event that takes place every year. We gather and ride from all over SoFlo and head to Key Largo to have brunch. Great event with plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs if you know what I mean.

Banned but not out, yet..

10 years ago I drove from Ft Lauderdale to Key West and had never seen more cops per mile than on that drive. Think I stopped counting after 35, going one way. Things must have loosened up.
