K State fans thread

Looks like the Big 12 is up for grabs and KSU migbt be in the drivers seat again.

Sole possession of first place and undefeated in the conference is a great place to start. Though somehow TCU still ended up being ranked ahead of us.

The Big 12 is brutal top to bottom, KU is the only easy win. WVU and OSU were picked at the bottom of the conference, yet they were able to give Bama and FSU a great game. I'll be shocked if anyone escapes the conference with a perfect record. There's a lot of football left to play.

TCU looks real good. Coach Schneider can find a way to beat them. He's an amazing coach and I remember him while on Hayden Fry staff. Been a fan since he arrived at KSU.

I was born and raised in Manhattan, KS, and did part of my schooling at KSU. As a kid I remember getting free tickets because KSU was so terrible, the kids all sat together in the South end zone because there was nobody there. I was at the milestone games in the 1990s when we started beating teams that we hadn't beaten in decades, and it's still painful to remember the 1998 Big 12 championship game comeback by Texas A&M that cost us a shot at the national championship.

The singular impact of Bill Snyder on the college and community will never be understood by those who didn't see it. More importantly he does things the right way, with a focus on helping his players become responsible men. For those not familiar, Google his core team values as well as his practice of writing hand written letters to players on the OPPOSING team to compliment them on their performance. Any football coach can take a collection of four and five star athletes and field a competitive team, but nobody does more with less than Snyder. I think he's the best college football coach of all time. Barry Switzer agrees.:)

Oklahoma really pissed me off with that last FD attempt. Bad enough they can't cover the spread, but they fuchup the moneyline too. I think it was deliberate
