Help desk.....why can't I post a link or image in the quick post window?
 

This just started happening a couple days ago. The icons are not working when I click on Image or Link in the quick reply window. I have to go to the regular post reply (advanced) window.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Hmm, you are correct. Not working for me either.

I rarely post from quick reply so did not notice.

My guess, it's what those 4 post spammers who quote something in a thread then attach the tracking pixel are exploiting to automate their spamdexing activities.

Maybe it will resolve itself in coming days/weeks.

I always use quick reply......unless uploading a photo. Much easier and faster.

Same here, and I verified it on several different machines.

probably an attempt to curb spammers. They post hidden links in their posts.....

html tools not working too? (bold, italic...)

You guys do know that you can just type

[ img ][ /img ] (without the extra spaces)

and then paste your image in between. Same goes for bold [ b ] [ /b], italics [ i ][ /i ], underline [ u ][ /u ] and quote [ quote ][ /quote].

I had to add the extra spaces next to the [ ] so you could see what I was talking about.

or just click on the go advanced button, like I have been doing
