Ha! My buddy and I thought it would be fun to write an article about our little Porsche Owners Club Winchester group. We submitted it to Winchester Collector Magazine and never heard a word. Today the fall issue arrived and there we are!

That's awesome Craig! I remember another thread where you posted a pic of your "ancient" beauties and identified them for us "mouth droolers" :D

I had a Model 71 in 38-40. Promised my wife when I could double my money and I kept that promise. Kind of wish I still had the thing.

I don't have any real valuable ones, but a few of the POC guys have some five-figure beauties. They are going up in value though, almost as fast as our old 911's. Even the pre-war 94 carbines are getting $1,000 in good condition....and they made a million of them.

I think it's awesome that you guys use 'em as they were intended. Wouldn't matter to me if your collection (and it IS impressive as I recall) was worth $10 or $100K....I would still "drool" over them anyways :D. Well done....
