I've been in love with the GT40 ever since I got my first Matchbox one at age 6. Thanks for posting that.

Wow!

rattlsnak 10-23-2014 08:44 PM

I'm not that familiar with the different models of these. What is different about the GT40B? There is a guy here locally that has a blue original GT40 but i have no idea what series it is?

J P Stein 10-23-2014 09:10 PM

That is the roadster version.

The "B" in the GT40 was a typo. The unique feature of this one is that it's a Targa.

Not sure I'd advertise having that rare beast in the shop unless you have killer security and insurance....

J P Stein 10-23-2014 09:17 PM

No Targa top here.

I waited till the car was gone before saying anything. Exactly for that reason.

porsche4life 10-23-2014 09:22 PM

Ahhh. I wondered about that. Smart man. Very cool car!

Did it make you sweat a bit having that in your care?

slodave 10-23-2014 09:23 PM

Dude! Why didn't you let me know? I need to take a look at the interior of one. I have a shift knob project for a Ford GT.
