Prince. Awesome.
I've always liked Prince, odd dude but the guy is super talented.
He's got a new band, 3rd Eye Girl, 3 woman, and they can play. This is a remake of his classic "Let's Go Crazy". Frikking great version of it. If you are not into heavy distortion driven blues funk don't bother listening. Check out the homage at 2:30. from Madison Dubé on Vimeo.

Amazingly talented guy. Liked what he's done in the past. This version is pretty good too.
Weird, but talented. Aren't many/most of the most artistically talented folks generally very weird?

That is great!! FYI they did a whole club tour about 18 months ago, sorry you missed it.
There's actually a new Prince album since the thing you posted; I like it, but Prince can pretty much do no wrong for me.

I saw one of the shows he was doing at the Forum a few years back. Fantastic.
I have never seen a more diverse group of people at a concert. Pretty amazing. Prince can still completely tear it up on guitar while dancing AND signing.

My Wife has a bucket list. Seeing Prince was the second on the list. I got her tix about 6 feet from the little man in a 300 person venue. She loved it.

I'll say this, Prince is a very weird guy, but at least you don't hear about him beating up his girlfriends, getting his 9th DUI this year, fighting at the clubs, etc.
His Super Bowl performance stands out to me. Raining, soggy, dreary day and I liked it "F@#k it" attitude and he put on an awesome show, with all guitar playing live I might add.
