Question best place to sell/give away car parts?

Craig's list, eBay or other?

If they were Porsche parts, I'd offer them here, but they aren't.

I have some things (winter tires & wheels, trunk mat, OEM radio, etc.) left over from my 2007 C-class (W203) MB. I'm in northern NJ, and I don't want to go through the effort of shipping large & heavy items like wheels+tires.

Back in the day, I'd use my local newspaper classifieds, but that doesn't seem to be worthwhile these days.

I'm looking for suggestions for minimum hassle, not maximum $$. And no, I don't want to just throw them away as that would cost me $$ due to the tire disposal fees.

Suggestions?

Put the stuff on Craigslist real cheap.

Believe it or not sometimes selling stuff cheap is easier / faster than giving it away for free.

+1 for Craigslist, local people are always trolling for good deals on that site.

^+1

If you list it for free, everyone will reply they want it and can pick it up in a few days - and will all be no-shows. If you list it cheap, they know there will be much interest and will make an extra effort to come over quickly to not miss out on the deal.

May want to ask them if they need parts to repair cars, etc. There also may be a local "help a single mom/elderly/disabled wtih transportation" type charities that may want/need the parts, esp. "generic" stuff like tires.
