Anyone else having trouble with google maps?

Google maps was my goto for finding my way anywhere... type in address, hit enter, map pops up on screen.
Now, not so much, type in address, hit enter... and nothing, nada.
Anyone else having a problem with google maps or is my problem localized?

Being a tech I should have thought to add, no changes to my computer, same hardware, windows 7, browser, I have been using for months. No recent changes, particularly this just started happening a few days ago, I presumed it might be heavy traffic at google but the problem is persistent.

I was able to locate the state park that my brother emailed me a link to about the pot bust story yesterday. It did kind of have a problem when I hit the satellite view though.

No, not all all. I use Pro. This weekend I am researching remote China for a trip & it is finding train stations, hotels etc perfectly.

I have gone back to using Google Maps "Classic". All the new extra add on stuff just gets in the way and I don't use it. I forget how I stumbled onto it but I prefer to use it over the "New Improved" version.

Just tried Google Maps with my address on Firefox and Windows XP: It worked.

It has gotten gradually worse over the last year or two.

I use it almost daily and some days it's flawless, other days it's useless.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

Sorry, just couldn't help it. Being a tech, I thought you would appreciate it.

I've been having a weird problem with street view. Sometimes it works, sometimes, I just get black. But in my case, I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is. I often have well over a hundred tabs open (sometimes a couple hundred). I usually kill and restart firefox when the memory util hits 2-2.5gig. If I had fewer tabs open or restarted more often, It'd never be a problem.

Update before I head for home.
Dumped my browser history and cookies and all is better.

I've been having problems for some time. I look at my location fine, then when I go down the road (map) a little, its all fuzzy. Sometimes a whole section is fuzzy and all aroud it is clear. Question, how do I clear the cookies from a sansung tablet?

Their latest big upgrade is a POS. Slow on every computer and network I have been on. How do I get back to the classic?
