Hey Wayne; How 'bout a change. . .

Just a thought.
Could you change the title of this form?
"Rantings" has kind of a "hall of shame"/angry tone about it.
I think the title keeps some of the traffic down.
There are those, who want to ask serious questions. Questions like Nader asked about plasma displays, for example.

Perhaps:
" Off Topic Ramblings
" Off Topic Corral
" Misc. Topics
" Misc. Ramblings

Perhaps a new form. . ."Misc. Technical" That would leave the "rants" in one world, and reasonable OT tech querries in another.

How about calling it "The Backseat"?

Good suggestions you guys.

Here is another one....how about "Off Topic Topics"?? ;)

I do have to agree that "rantings" kind of has a not so positive ring to it.

I think people knowingly post an OT on the other board because it is an issue/subject that is important to them and they just want more people to see it and give their input/insight/thoughts.

Thanks, Sarah

Hey thanks. "Off Topic Discussions" is good!!

I have to admit that I like checking out the OT board too because I don't usually have a lot of technical ques to ask or limited knowledge to answer any. I read them but I don't know enough to get too involved. (I got your 101 projects book so that has been helpful with identifying a lot of things people talk about). Thx, Sarah :)
