It's staggering that this passes for an article title:
2015 Chevrolet Corvette in SECOND horrific car crash during testing as car spins out in rainy weather just months before model is set to go on sale to the public |
It's not a good time to be a rocket test pilot.
Was it supposed to be designed as an idiot-proof vehicle that was impossible to crash? Because that's the only way this "news story" makes any sense.
Who writes this stuff?

It's the Daily Mail. They have trained monkeys who sit down at computer screens and just start making things up. It's amazing, really, but they frequently spell words correctly.
Geez, where's the news here? Could you imagine the 930 testing in today's media? Never would have gone into production.
Dad hydroplaned a 733 BMW into one of those cable barriers. Cut the trunk up to the wheel wells, right through the tail lights.
Cable barriers are not really there to protect the crashing car but to prevent them from crossing the median and crashing into oncoming traffic.
We have a stretch of highway where winter crashes crossing the median have become a rare event since the installation of the cable barrier. |
If the testers are crashing this bad...the prospectus isn't so hot for the consumer.
I have always looked at those cable barrier feeling huge pity for motorcyclists...
Yeah, motorcycle hits that and the body lands in two different places.
Ultra high performance sports car on a slick highway with Z-rated summer tires, (most likely), and someone managed to spin it? This is news, or has anything to do with the capabilities of the car?
I'm lost here. |
