It's a Boxster. It's not like he chopped up a rare car. He did it for his own reasons and diminished the value of his car. He'll never get $12,900 out of that thing.

The timing seems to be off? With Motronic?

Because there is a dope out there that will walk up to it and say, "Yo Man that is a Pooorsh GT, like the one Paul Walker died in right!?"

And make it all worth it.

but it is a rare 1998 with auto!

It does make me think... is that a body kit? I can't believe it is because they wouldn't sell many of them. So did he hand fab all that? If so that is a lot of work that he won't see much money for.

Could always pull off the body kit and turn it into a rad looking dune buggy I suppose...or that would just be another stupid idea...

So, question - why did he stop? Ran out of money? Couldn't find the glass? Mom came out and slapped him in the head and said 'enough you damn fool!"

why? here's three reasons from other craiglisters in reading, pa. different strokes for special folk. [so sometimes, we just shouldn't ask what drives people to do what they do. they are just a product of their environment.]

Or maybe he just ran out of drugs?

I kinda like the dune buggy idea... or strip off the body and drive it "naked" like they do with motorcycles... but it has an automatic and engine problems.

I wouldn't pay more than 1-2k for that, and even then I'd think I was doing him a favor.

I didn't realize that Porsche started production of the CGT again.... Note the "made to look like a 2014 Porsche Carerra GT".

Looks like you can indeed buy a body kit- $6,500. That's the how, but who can explain the why?

According to the web site, they have built 18 of them. What a waste, it not as if the value of the car would increase, it probably diminishes it.
