I'm in. Not sure how much this can be on the down low, since he visits here often.

Has anyone heard an update? I stopped by his shop a few months ago and it sounded like she was doing good.

Send me the pm for his PayPal please

Not on the down low. I tired to reply to this last night, but you generous bastages made me tear up a little bit, and I found myself at a loss for words. I cannot thank you guys enough for your kindness.
She did relapse 3 days after her first birthday. We had her home for 2 months this summer, but have been back in the hospital since September 15th. She is finishing up 2 more rounds of chemo right now, and maybe even coming home at the end of this week for a little break through Thanksgiving , before we go back in for a bone marrow transplant. We have a donor lined, up, and it is basically all systems go, as long as she goes back into remission after this round of chemo . We spent 3 days in the ICU a few weeks back due to an infection, but other than that , she has handled chemo pretty well. For the the most part, she is a happy bubbly little girl.
We really don't need anything right now. We are hanging in there pretty good considering the situation we are in. We are fine with money, and have great family nearby to help us with the day to day stuff. I really do appreciate your offers . I feel bad for my boy, as he has been bounced around like a pinball while we run back and forth to the hospital. When this is all over, I am going to work real hard to make it up to him. I only get to see him 3 nights a week , when I am home.
I really do appreciate your thoughtfulness, and generosity . Great bunch of guys/gals here.
Baby Casey thanks you also. I'll try to keep this updated, and let you guys know how this goes. I understand that recovery from marrow transplants, can be a little rocky .
Thanks again brothers .http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1416197367.jpg

Shes a cutie fred, glad to hear she is going well, despite the relapse!

And too late people have already been rounding stuff up for you. Use it to make sure your boy has a good christmas, or save it for a father son trip to a race after its all over with! This wasn't my idea, but seeing how much the Cstuff has cost my folks just in time away from work, I was onboard with helping you out!

Dang Fred...........sorry to hear about the relapse....but she's in good hands and I know she'll get what is needed form her medical staff and of course her family.

Please keep us posted and give little peanut a hug (or three) from Uncle B.

:)

Fred, sorry to hear she relapsed. My original offer still stands. I work downtown and anytime you want a break from hospital food or just talk turbo spool, let me know.

Just saw this thread, I don't frequent Pelican as often as I used to. Uggghhhh! What a sweetheart! And it breaks my heart Fred that you have to go through this. If she has a bone marrow donor lined up, that's a good thing. And I am TOTALLY in. And gosh, I wish we could help your family in even more ways than just money. Keep us updated and if there is anything we can do! Big hugs, Fred and to your little cutie pie too!

Awesome that you have a donor!

For those of you who wish you could do more to help out in situations like this, become a marrow donor. Most donations now occur through something more like a blood donation than an actual draw of marrow from the bone, although that is still required for some cases. All it takes is a cheek swab to get listed. Statistical likelihood of being a match are slim, but that's why it's important for lots of people to sign up.
