Concrete oil stains

Does the brain trust have a solution to removing set in oil stains from a garage floor? Have tried an industrial degreaser. Treated stains directly 100%, Let sit for 15 mins. or so, then diluted cleaner and machine scrubbed entire floor with a rotary scrubber with aggressive pad.

Concrete looked fresh poured, oil stains ugly as ever.

Pour some turpentine on the area, let it soak just a minute, then scrub with a wire brush. Cover with cat litter.

Sounds like you've already made some serious attempts, though. It's prob as clean as you'll get it.

Griot's sells some stuff that works really well. It's almost like pancake batter, pour it on, let it dry, and then sweep it away. A bud came by in an old MGB GT and was in my driveway for about 20 minutes and it looked like it leaked a quart. Can't even tell where the oil was now.

Please post a link. I can't find it in the Griots catalog search.
Thanks

Local Honda dealer did a recall fulfil on my power steering hose and left it loose - big ps fluid leak spots on my new concrete pavers - just from going up the driveway to the garage bay. uuuuggggghhhhh - already tried Brake Kleen

Well as a consolation prize you are already ahead with concrete pavers. If you can't clean them to your standard, the offending paver(s) can be easily replaced with new ones!

That's weird! I just looked at their website too and no longer there. I bought a gallon of it about 5 years ago. Wonder why they don't carry it now!

Put some cat litter (clay pellets) and rub it with the flat side if a brick and your stains will disappear. Works everytime

Carb cleaner. Usually half a can will do it.

Kitty litter. Flat shoes and do a shuffle, grind it in.

I use liquid dish washing soap Poor it over the stain wipe it in with your hand and let it sit for a day or so. Used this on concrete and pavers and works great

I'm not sure I have ever had an oil spot that purple power wouldn't take care of. Lacquer thinner would be my next move but you'll pull up whatever sealer is on the floor.

Muriatic acid. Works every time. Otherwise known as hydrochloric acid.
