I gotta say i'm loving my ninja bullet
I know the video is a touch corny but it shows what I'm talking about. Love this thing. I am now using it to replace a meal several days a week. Typical mix is a banana, fiber powder, blueberries and strawberries. The fiber fills you up and helps get any nasty fat laden **** you ate earlier in the day out of your system quicker. Couple presses on the thing and instant smoothie. Zero problems with ice cubes. I've tossed spinach in there several times as well and you can barely tell it's there. For someone like me (actually have a plant phobia) this thing is unreal. Loving it and loving the cheeseburger/taco/chicken/etc lunches at work I've skipped by using it.

A friend dropped by last night with that rig and made us a lovely drink...frozen bananas, dates, nuts, spinach, etc. And almond milk. I was impressed.
She got it at Costco.

They're about $100 but I used a 20% coupon at bed bath and beyond. probably less than $100 at Costco.
it is a heavy duty piece for sure. impressive weight.

Isn't Gin crazy-making? Not sure.

Try adding an avocado or half of an avocado instead of the fiber. Lots of good fiber and healthy oils.
We bought the small magic bullet several years ago and used the snot out of it. We upgraded to the larger bullet after a bit and have used that extensively for a couple of years too. We mostly do an avocado base, occasionally banana. Definitely a good idea to throw some spinach or some sort of green into those smoothies too. May as well get the benefit of the greens. You don't really notice them other than the color or if you use something with a particularly strong flavor. If you like a chocolate milk shake, freeze a fairly ripe peeled banana, then add a cup of coconut milk, a table spoon or two of almond butter a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of cocoa powder. I think I may add a couple of ice cubes and a tiny bit of cold water too. Sounds like an odd combo, but makes for a very thick, sweet chocolatey drink that's just like a milk shake.

Just an update I am still loving this thing. We bought a counter top ninja blender for home so I'm getting my shakes there as well.
And get this....I have a hard time stuffing all the spinach in there on top of the blueberries and other fruits!!!! I'm telling you I thought Dennis Leary was the greatest when I was a youngster. Give me a pack of smokes and a giant fat ass steak and all was well. Now I'm actually BUYING SPINACH ON PURPOSE!!! I still can't touch a salad in a bowl. But throw it in a blender with some fruits and holy cow. Un-friggin-believable. Love it.

OK.....picked up the Ninja Pro today at Walmart. Only $99.00. Will try it out in the morning with a simple banana smoothie. Looking forward to concocting some interesting blends!
Thanks Beretta!

I've been settling on about 8oz water with either fiber powder or protein powder, a banana and then my other fruits and spinach.
Frozen fruits are perfect for this. Blueberries, strawberries, mango (super sweet when added) and even an apple slices. |

Try adding kale to the above sounding excellent food recipes.
I do much the same but in my new blender. It also chops up ice cubes for making pina coladas ![]() |

I got the Ninja blender/kneeder/smoothie kit from Costco. On sale for 119.00. It kicks butt. Much better than the nutri bullet and old kitchen aide blender. Been making smoothies with ultra low fat greek yogurt, mixed berries, coconut milk and protein powder. yum!
