Is this the same nitwit...
...who puts this Porsche collection up for sale every so often, then acts like a dick and refuses to sell anything?

Must be that time of year for the mentally insane to crawl out from under their rocks...

Google: Sheridan Wyoming Porsche collection. Many stories like this:
BEWARE: DO NOT BUY ANY CARS FROM SHERIDAN,WY or BILLINGS,MO - Rennlist Discussion Forums |
Can someone explain this guy to me? "Crazy" is too easy. Even crazy folks have reason and motivation.
|
I think he likes watching all the internet drool over his toys and has no intention of selling.
|
I bet his phone rings off the hook with the new generation of "flippers" not wise to the story yet.
|
One day he will die and his heirs can sell the stuff at fire-sale prices.
|
I understand that he is really not all that crazy. He just bought a bunch of cars a while ago speculating that they would go up in value. and is looking to cash in on his investment, and make some loot off what he has now that they are worth some coin.
I cannot imagine the barrage of phone calls , texts, and e mails he gets every time he list some for sale. Like you said, probably every flipper , lowballer and dreamer in the cont. U.S. , looking to get their mits on the cars cheap pounding him every day. I have heard that he sold a few cars that went to the middle east for some serious $$$$$. Of course, he could be just another nut bag . They are out there. everywhere these days. I do know of someone who says he has spoken with him several times, and he seemed O.K. |
|
I thought last year he sold everything to someone else? I guess he just created a new persona to screw with people.
|
How do we know he really has them? Anyone can create a list of cars - even providing photos and VIN #s copied from other sites.

Large Porsche 911 collection 1964-1973
Large Porsche 911 collection 1964-1973 (Sheridan) One of the largest collections of 64-73 Porsche automobiles and parts available right now. These cars are all in one place. No need to travel all over the country. 80 Porsche 911 cars many rare and interesting models including: many 1964-1966 models 20+ S models 67-73 8 E models 69-73 most cars are complete many need restoration plus a large inventory of used parts this is a very large collection and requires the right buyer ideal for a serious collector or restoration facility with the means to restore many cars per year. looking to sell complete collection or large portions. I can help with logistics of transport. Be realistic. This deal will require a large amount of cash and energy. Cars are all located in one town. Sheridan, Wyoming. Send your phone number and email address for more information and we can discuss the details. |
I don't think he's a nut job at all. As a matter of fact, I think he's a very clever man. Think about it, he has all these cars and parts and they are worth $$$. I, personally would just put an ad out as a feeler and get the juices flowing. Periodically put out another just to remind you guy who are interested that he's still had the cars. One day when he's ready to sell, he'll return your phone calls. I am sure he's tire of low ballers specially when they say "I have cash on hand let deal".
Why get piss at stuff like that? |
I despise people who go out of their way to waste other people's time. I consider it a form of theft.
|
This is similar (but better) than some of those old farts on that TV show "American Pickers" who have way too much stuff that they have to trip over daily, but refuse to sell because of sentimental value. This seems to be better because at least all the cars and parts this guy has is worth alot of money, and maybe he is just trying to peak interest in it before taking top dollar.....a tool none the less.
