Okay Harley guys:Removing a HD Sportster seat and/or battery, any special tools?
I won't need anything out of the ordinary, like a torx screwdriver or anything am I? Basic stuff like you carry in your seat bag I would expect. I guess I probably ought to just go look at my brother's bike.

I just did this on a friend's Sportster. Way easy. one bolt for the seat. Make sure the front hook on the seat hooks on to the frame correctly.

Cool, 12 volt system I presume, unless it is super old, which I do not believe it is

My '64 takes a pair of 1/2" wrenches to get the seat off, one bolt. But the only thing under there is the oil tank - bike has a magneto and no battery...
