free Vintage wooden ship model kit to fellow Pelican
Free to a fellow Pelican for the cost of postage.
(I was unable to find the old thread on model ship building and was going to list it there.) This is a vintage wood model kit made by Billing Boats of Denmark. Its the Santa Maria and includes seperate kit of brass riggings. Sail cloth, lines, brass trim, instructions, decals seem complete, original cartons. It appears someone had started on it and the hull is missing. Full scale drawing is included so one still has a pattern to replicate. PM if you'd like it. Cheer's

I would take it in a heartbeat if I were retired and had the time and patience to give it the proper treatment, but that is still 10 years away.
