Just got off the phone with my buddy. He said gas was $2.73 this morning when he filled up, $2.93 when he drove by the station on the way home.

Actually, that is not quite all.

Went out to dinner with my family for Mom's 80th birthday a few days ago. A chain barbeque place, Lucille's. Not bad food, the pulled pork that I make is better, but the way they do it lets you choose from three different sauces. It was not too loud to hear what was going on, my brother had picked up this chocolate coffee flavored cake that was like tiramisu or something. I don't even like cake and think that stuff was delish. Jesus tap dancing Christ what is the English language coming to? How does the spell check not catch, "delish." Dad was sitting next to me, and was telling stories about the folks who originally owned the building where my office is.

It was a doctor and wife; the wife had the head for business. He bought the building for her apparently, but it was a good investment, and he had his office in that building when they built it. She was the first person in California to grow kiwi fruit commercially, how is that for a random bit of information.

Mom started talking about how they were dodging them and the daughter's boyfriend for a while. When they went into The Ram or The Firehouse, they would look at the reservation book, and go somewhere else if they saw they had a reservation. It was pretty funny to me, considering the daughter and boyfriend in question.

He might have had a few too many but he's right, gas is going crazy here. Up something like $.60-.80 in the last 30 days.

Got to love it, takes 12 months to go down $1, takes 30 days to go back up 60% of that.
