I think it odd that the format is month day year. I prefer day month year myself.

I do agree, that having month day year is not logical. But should it be day, month, year or year, month, day. If so, then why do we use hours, minutes, seconds instead of seconds, minutes, hours. So to make things nice and smooth, shouldn't it be

I've tried to switch. It's really easy to get your computer to use whatever order/format you want. It was too hard since pretty much every other date I look at used the one that is out of order.
