Uh, I'm pretty sure that in the US, we still have 1000 millimeters in a meter, 1000 meters in a kilometer, etc....
![]() And I'm pretty sure, they still use a bunch of the non-metric measurements in the UK, so we aren't the only ones. I do agree, that having month day year is not logical. But should it be day, month, year or year, month, day. If so, then why do we use hours, minutes, seconds instead of seconds, minutes, hours. So to make things nice and smooth, shouldn't it be 2014, 12, 13 19:26:00

I've tried to switch. It's really easy to get your computer to use whatever order/format you want. It was too hard since pretty much every other date I look at used the one that is out of order.
