Welding isn't too bad. I prefer tig to mig...

But why is it that welds always need to be done to the bottom of the car, upside down, in a confined area, usually next to a gas line, in an oil soaked area :) ?

MIG is interesting but a really versatile way to weld is using oxy/acetylene. Some wild YouTube videos on how to weld and also how strong it can be.

....not to mention that my tri focal lenses are always in the wrong spot. I take off my specs & can see reel gud up close.....but I can't get my head/hood in close enuff.......Sometimes my welds are "approximates". I have a soft hood but it slips down...or up, The lights are out and I have no idea WTF I'm doing till I strike an arc and realize the hood is on backwards (sigh).....I often come out of such places with new bumps on my haid.
