I love the idea and if it holds up on quality I even love the execution.
It is true you could get a faster 987 for the same money, or an equally fast miata/944/other 20+ yr old car. But it's apples and oranges not only because they are conventional cars, but also used.

Compared to any other new car or motorcycle for $20k (not out the door as the video mentions, but a legitimate $20k + Tax, Title, License) it's a riot.
Compared to a new (or used, for that matter) Atom, T-Rex, or X-Bow it's not as high performance but a good value for performance per dollar.

I'm not in the market for a $20k toy, but lots of people are and spend less wisely than this (see $30k+ HD, Victory, Indian, etc.). Hopefully they do reasonably well so in 4-5 years there are a plethora of used ones for me to choose from.

If you really want to "Road Hard", see what $20K gets you in a fast motorcycle..........
