hillbilly, Messerschmidt, dead hillbilly, fat lady, 'nother hillbilly.

That's a very good way to start an incident. To anyone that has a following for Elvis, that's like saying something derogatory about your sister. Tread lightly my friend...

^^^I thought wdfifteen's photo description was pretty accurate.....LMFAO!:p

Apparently you guys are less concerned with helping here, and more concerned with testing my resolve.
Ask DARISC how that worked out for him...

I think they have helped. Didn't two people post the whereabouts of the vehicle in the picture?

And making posts like that is just asking for more smart assed responses. You couldn't get more by offering to pay for them.

A few have actually helped. I'm referring to wdfifteen and 2porscheguy. They are the ones prompting smart-assed responses. Thanks for your viewpoint though.

What was that line from that movie?
Oh yeah, Lighten up Frances.

Sorry, just couldn't help myself.

masraum 12-18-2014 05:09 PM

Or should that be Francis?

Hey masraum, did you ever live in Friendswood, TX, and know a girl named Cheryl?

2porscheguy 12-18-2014 05:18 PM

OK Don, I'll apologize for hijacking your thread....it's uncalled for.

Sorry I can't help but, just to clarify, you're searching for and hoping to find the actual vehicle, the Messerschmidt, in that picture that you've posted of Elvis P and others?

Thank you. Yes, that is the car that I am looking for.

cashflyer 12-18-2014 05:39 PM

Ok Don. If you must have THE Messserschmitt that belonged to Elvis, your best bet of locating it is to contact Julie Lansky. Bernard died in 2012, but Julie still operates the Lansky Brothers shop. It is located in the first floor of the Peabody Hotel in Memphis.

Address: The Peabody Memphis, 149 Union Avenue #9, Memphis, TN 38103
Phone: (901) 405-7625

Lansky Bros. Online

As for me...... I'm outta here.

Thanks cashflyer. That's a big help.

We can keep going if that's what you want to do. It's your call. I'm just here looking for information. Again, DARISC didn't fair too well when he tangled with me. He ended up PM-ing me to stop the hurt. Let's not go there.
I'm not looking for a fight, only information. I don't know how to be any more clear than that.
Oh, what's that line from that movie?... oh yeah, "A man's got to know his limitations"

flipper35 12-19-2014 09:48 AM

If I read this right, WD told you it was a ME and that his friends father owned one is how he knew. I didn't see him offer to sell that one to you but was just offering information.

And his grandfather (in the hat) Picture taken in 1956

Car is a 1955 Mershershmitt KR 200 you already have the Lansky information - now back off with the veiled threats.

gordner 12-19-2014 11:52 AM

that escalated quickly lol....
I am tempted to dive in and poke some fun at 88 just so I can experience the hurt....sounds so scary!

I would have been a lot clearer if you'd asked the question you wanted answered. Here’s a tip: If you want to know where a specific vehicle is and if it's for sale, ask “Where is this car and is it for sale?” NOT “Can anyone identify this car?”
And you do appear to be looking for a fight.

I thought I did??? I guess some people don't read the entire thread before answering...
gordner, please don't be a hater...

scottmandue 12-19-2014 03:01 PM

What about the hat? Is the hat for sale?
