Just one thing, once you go big, it takes a crew. if you can single hand it, its fine.
A crew is not always as EZ as it sounds.

I will be happy to crew now and then if someone needs me. Been sailing since I was just a pup. Not as agile as I once was, but can navigate and handle the lines and wheel as necessary. Nice looking boat.

One time, one of us (not sure who) neglected to remove one of the mooring lines, and oops...ripped off a dock cleat and other damage from the America's Cup Marina...we still had a great sail however   ps: It's a 72' wooden schooner...damn glad I don't own it...it's better to have friends with big sailboats imo... 239K? Looks like a lot of old equipment on there.
Noticed BIL's boat, edit edit. Pedrick is a great designer. I will just say it looks a little pricey.
