Going to SanFran next week - Trip over to Blackhawk Auto museum worth it?
When I travel I have a habit of searching for the local car museums while I'm there (picture my wife rolling her eyes). I'll be in San Fran for a few days next week. Anyone been over to the Blackhawk museum in Danville? Worth the trip?

I think you can check online to see what they have on display with them or Canepa if you want to go South instead. Figure out if it is worth the trip for you maybe. They do have very cool stuff at both of them. At Canepa, you could even pick up something for the little woman. Bring a big wallet, something in a 356 perhaps?

When I was there several years ago it was well worth the stop. Drop in at Fantasy Junction in Emeryville, and EASY while you're at it.

Family and I be visiting SF this coming weekend and I was planning a visit to the Blackhawk Museum as well! LOL, I get the same reaction.
They apparently have a European Model Train setup for the holidays in addition to the collection. I'll probably go Sunday or Monday with my wife. Vin

Make it a 2fer, first weekend of the month is the Blackhawk Museum Cars and Coffee then check out the museum after the show.
You can see C&C on Youtube. The museum stock is usually really old cars but rotates. |

Doan call it SF, San Fran or god forbid, Frisco. It's "the City". Doan mention LA.

It is easily worth it, one of or maybe the only place built to be a Car Museum, my wife isn't much of a car person and she loved that place. It really is great. Almost everything in there is on loan and they won't tell you who the owner is.
