How can that be? I live in Wisconsin. Land of the corn fields. The odds of a theft out here are zero. You live in New York, and it costs less???

I may have to call them, as the numbers seem odd...

Bo is your car a turbo? If so that's why. Sugarwood I'm in the same boat as you only difference is I'm insuring 2 cars. It's cheaper for the second car. I have agreed values of 30k and 25k on them and I'm paying a little over $800. When it was just the 86 it was $591 with $100/$50 deductibles. Reason I use them is the reliability and the fact that they will cover the cars if either of my boys are driving them. No other collector car insurance would cover anyone without a 10 years driving history. Something to think about if you have kids.

I don't remember my deductible....other than its being the same on all my cars (full coverage....200-400k liability).
All my insurance (wife included)......home, life, cars, yada, is thru one company. American National.

Agreed price on my 65 Mustang 25k.....(gotta raise that, come spring) for a vintage car.... The only stipulation is I can't use it for a DD, but no mileage restrictions. I no longer have a commute, thank God.

Cost? Under 70 bucks a year.......64 bucks, IIRC.......eat your hearts out.:D

My advice is to get all your insurance under one roof.....a solid one........getting old helps, as does a clean driving record.

Who needs Hagerty?

I'm telling you guy…AAA's Collector Car Insurance program caught me by surprise. My $272 is for just one car, the 75 911S at $40,000 Agreed Value. My track car is no longer insured.

I think they only cover up to 1978, so it probably won't help the OP, but for the rest of you. …and I only get 5,000 miles per year. $10,000 miles was an extra $15. lol

LOL, stop the presses.

The $300 with Allstate was for 6 months,
so I am actually paying $600/year for Allstate.

So, this makes Hagerty more compelling
b/c it's $600/year with a $35k stated value.

You must have a very old policy b/c Hagerty isn't handing out anything close to $200 policies anymore.
Do you actually have collision and comprehensive, or just liability?

yes - had it for 10 years now
