The location says it all, I wonder whats covered with that 60 or 100 mile comprehensive warranty. This guy can't be much older than 19, at least I pray that he isn't while reading this ad.

Emission 10-17-2002 08:34 AM

I like it. Great ad.

Mikkel 10-17-2002 09:48 AM

"If there are any problems with the brake hoses or anything like that, they are fine now, so it will be your responsibility."

??? What exactly is the point?

sammyg2 10-17-2002 10:06 AM

Here's the real killer:

Terms of Sale

"60 mile warranty. You bid on it, you buy it. If this is a gift, I will put on a bow on it and lie for tax purposes. (If you win) "

Not exactly what I would put in print.... also I checked the white area (hidden print) majorly funny.

Just like the Cat D8e I used to operate for a summer job when I was in high school. It was a 6 speed, but you could not shift while moving (and trust me, I tried my damndest)- you had to stop, put it in the gear you wanted, and then go. It had another shifter for forward/reverse, so in reality you had 6 forward and 6 reverse gears! Ah, the driving tales I can tell from driving Cats! Makes some peoples' Porsche stories pale by comparison!

"60 mile warranty. Is up to 100 now! Im telling you guys this made my day this is a Classic! Maybe he owns the white 911 with the nice RED door panels. I had to read it twicehttp://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/clap.gif

This guy is putting us on.

And he's good at it too.

Check this hidden text, in white -

" fast furious hemi dodge viper lambo ferrari Eddie is the devil Vin Diesel nude xxx sex my mother hits me"

arcsine 10-17-2002 10:18 AM

This pretty much is the clincher for me.

"All of the lights on the inside are very bright, sometimes too bright but you can dim them."

If I had not read that the car has never been airborne, I would be writing a check right now. I NEED bright lights.

TRE Cup 10-17-2002 10:19 AM

that is one entertaining ad- just like the $10 million bid on the Enzo Ferrari on e bay- hah hah hah hah hah hah!

efhughes3 10-17-2002 12:00 PM

For Sale, or maybe not: 1 car by "Sammy the Schizo"

This may, or may not, be a really good car!

CamB 10-17-2002 12:17 PM

Someone should show email him this thread - he is taking the piss to see what sort of reaction he gets (an Ebay troll if you will) and while he is getting the enjoyment of people emailing him and telling him he is a moron, he is missing out on the above.

I am seriously impressed - the hidden writing is class. I bet he's got some major traffic through that ad.

I would in fact be surprised if he is even that serious on selling the car...

surflvr911sc 10-17-2002 12:32 PM

LMAO

OK all you PA and surrounding guys need to get together a do something about this before he breeds. I don’t think the gene pool can take another one of these guys. His mother obviously didn’t hit him enough.

bobswei 10-17-2002 12:57 PM

Wow! Now that I've dried up my tears.... I don't usualy forward car stuff to my co-workers and bore them to death but this is not realy about a car. I'm guessing by tomorrow morning it will be in every one of our offices, from S.F. to New Jersey.

that's funny, because my rule is I never buy a car that *hasn't* hit a Llama. Alpaca is OK too. Why do you think it took me so long to find my car?

Amac 10-17-2002 01:26 PM

I want to meet this guy!!!
Anyone that can get this kind of response
no matter what he's selling, is no dummy!!!
Wouldn't be suprised if he turns out to be
a marketing executive.
The Viper/Vette thing did reel in a few fish!!!
I will say it put a smile on my face!!

724doorE 10-17-2002 01:53 PM

I reiterate, this is too funny, I just got the hidden stuff, I know I'm slow... LOL:cool: I should have looked at any other auctions he had.

Brian993 10-17-2002 04:53 PM

This guy has obviously not met our KurtB rice eater and beater.

PORSHIN 10-17-2002 07:24 PM

That is quite possibly one of the funniest things I would never have seen if you told me about it then maybe I wouldn't have until last week. But sometimes I did and not usually. LOL...I thought I would die when the basketball player was knocked out by the full-court pass!!! Hilarious!

RatBoy4 10-17-2002 07:50 PM

"And I have a garage that I park it in. But that's not included. And I have gas in the car. But that's not included. AND I have a sun shade. But that's not included.";)
Did anyone else notice that he listed about three things and then said they were not included. What a schmoe. LOLhttp://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/ar15.gif http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/mgwhore.gif

hilandscott 10-17-2002 08:00 PM

rice burner soy sauce were you in the war

Cute. Made me chuckle a bit. I didn't know you could put the *hidden* white text in the add. Perhaps to get a few extra hits on the search tool...

I don't think I have ever seen an item with 25K+ hits.

Think that could be a sham counter??
