Old Boat people,
I need some help with names. Many years ago I came across a hand signed print, #50 of 51 I think. It is a very nice picture of the Pilgrim, the pictures were sold in Dana Point mid 70s for the opening of the Ocean Institute, or what ever it was called them. I have tried and tried but can't find any information on the guy that drew the picture. His name was Hal Bright, supposedly some American Indian connection. The Picture is great, but I have never found any information on this guy.
Another pen and ink drawing I picked up many years ago is maybe from the 20s or 30s, the boats name is Sea Spray, it is a print, #6 of 151 by N. I. Gormick, the name, number and signature are all hand written. Again, I look all the time and can't find any info on that name. Anyone ever heard of these artists? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Dana Point and art should never be used in the same paragraph.
